I'm Doug Nelson. I'm 62, and work as a counselor in California. I've been taking 35mm photographs since my year in Viet Nam, in 1968. Fifteen years ago, my technical writing job dragged me kicking and screaming into digital imaging. Hiking and travel are two other loves. The Appalachian Trail and the folks who maintain it mean much to me. I am currently discovering Europe and enjoying getting in touch with that part of our heritage. Living well means experiencing the great cultures and people of this world. Experiences are more important to me than stuff. Having said that, I must confess a weakness for fine old film cameras.
